Legal Secretary – Commercial Litigation
Our client’s reputation has successfully developed by providing services across all legal practices; delivering a professional, efficient and focussed service towards their clients’ needs. A fantastic opportunity has arisen within the firm and they are now looking for a professional and experienced Legal Secretary to join the Commercial Litigation team.
Supporting one Partner, one Senior Associate and a junior Solicitor; the Legal Secretary will have a professional attitude and strive to provide suitable administrative support to your team members. Your duties as the Legal Secretary will include (but not be limited to);
- Billing and time reporting
- Coordinating meetings, travel arrangements, catering and expenses
- Diary management,
- Manage all incoming communications and direct/ respond accordingly
- Prepare, maintain and amend any documents and correspondence
- Establish and maintain an effective filing system and other administrative systems
You will ideally have 3 years working in a law firm (experience in litigation is essential, preferable commercial) and bring with you;
- Exceptional organisation skills
- An ability to work to deadlines and under pressure
- A professional telephone manner and excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Efficient time management abilities
- Good computer literacy skills and experience in digital dictation
